Barnaby Downes is a Filmmaker and Photographer from the South Beaches of Sydney Australia and has been working in the industry in a range of content creating roles over the past 6 years.

 

Graduating with a BA of Creative Arts (Film and Television Production) in 2016, Barnaby’s Graduate Short Film ‘Connected’ took out the ‘People’s Choice’ at the JMC Martini Awards. 

 

Since 2017 Barnaby has worked closely with Australian Feature Film ‘Akoni’ where he captured the behind the scenes in Australia and Traveled with a small crew to Ghana, Africa as BTS and Production Assistant. 

 

Barnaby has built an impressive portfolio over the years working with a range of Small Businesses to help their brands shine, working closely with UTS with their Sport and Social programs, Capturing Live events such as Sydney Kings Basketball, Corporate functions, Dance Schools and Photographing the biggest Music Festivals in Australia such as Falls Festival and Fire Fight Australia 2020. 

 

Barnaby has also had the opportunity to work with a range of Large Business such as Amazon, Kia, Lowes, LadBible, Buildcorp, IAG, O’Brian and many more as a Cinematographer, Camera Assistant and Editor with Sydney Production Companies where he was been able to grow and thrive under the guidance of Industry Professionals.
